I have just come across the news that iPhone in India will also be available through the Airtel. Few days ago, news has come that iPhone will be launched through the Vodafone network and I was a bit sad because here in AP, Vodafone network is not as good as Airtel. Most of the time, I hear the “network busy” or “user not reachable” voices when I try to call the Vodafone users. Airtel is planning to release it around Deepavali. I also heard that Airtel is going to release it before the Vodafone. If Airtel allows its old subscribers to change over to the new iPhone, I am thinking to take one. Otherwise, I have to wait till it is available in the market with the option to use any GSM SIM.
