If you are not able to see the font correctly, then follow the procedure I explained for correct rendering of Telugu here, which is same for enabling any Indian language: http://www.naveen.info/2007/12/11/telugu-rendering-and-writing-in-windows-xp/ Use http://quillpad.in/marathi/ to type in Marathi and then paste it in your scrap books or wherever you need to type in Marathi.
